We're going to talk about two main methods of stenciling. Both are very easy to do.
The first method is called stipping, which is just dabbing or tapping a loaded brush against the stencil. This method is very good at producing even tones, but it will have less depth.
The second method, called swirling, is when you make simple circular movements with the brush against the stencil. By changing the amount of pressure on the brush will affect the look of your design.
Shading can add more depth and interesting features to your design. Please practice on a piece of paper before doing it on the wall.
